How long until I see a change? Chemi-Pure Elite's superior filtration creates a clean fish tank with clean, crystal clear water within hours. Period.

Instructions:
Treats up to 40 gallons for up to 6 months.

Use one 11.74 ounce unit, already packed in a filter bag, for up to 40 gallons.
Use two 11.74 oz. units for 40 to 100 gallons, above 100 gallons add 1-10 oz. unit for every additional 25 gallons.

Where to place Chemi-Pure Elite:

Instructions: Keep Chemi-Pure Elite package sealed until ready for use, then simply remove the bag directly from the bottle. It is pre-moistened and should be lightly rinse prior to use. Keep the nylon bag closed and place Chemi-Pure Elite in the aquarium's canister filter or regular filter, so it has a substantial flow of water flowing through the nylon bag. Be sure to place Chemi-Pure Elite in an area of your filter that is large enough to accept the amount needed. If needed, use a small amount of filter floss to support the Chemi-pure Elite bag so it remains directly in the water flow path.

I have cloudy water in my aquarium, will Chemi-Pure Elite clear it up? Yes! Chemi-Pure Elite can get rid of cloudy aquarium water by filtering out organic particulates, nitrates, phosphates and silicates. It does this quickly, usually within hours.

What makes my fish tank cloudy in the first place? Multiple problems can cause cloudy aquarium water. The most popular are: New fish providing more waste, overfeeding can lead to food decomposing on the aquarium floor or floating around in the fish tank, or a change in lighting can increase bacteria growth which can make the water cloudy.

I have a fish bowl that has cloudy water. Should I use Chemi-Pure Elite? Chemi-Pure Elite is designed for aquariums and fish tanks that use a filtration system. For a fish bowl, it's better that you perform a water change and clean the gravel of waste material.

What happens if my aquarium water is cloudy for too long? It's possible that the cloudy water will provide cyanobacteria in the aquarium with a nutrient supply, creating a red slime algae bloom. If this happens, you'll need to remove the red slime with Boyd's Chemiclean Red Slime Remover.

A must for saltwater tanks. Simply put it in a high flow area of your tank or sump and let it do the work, eliminating nitrates, silicates and phosphates. I would recommend this to anyone who is a serious aquarium fanatic!
